Keto Green Bean Casserole

Keto green bean casserole recipe is the perfect comfort food, it’s low-carb (carb count: 4.1 net), gluten-free, and packed with flavor. Top with crispy pork rinds.



  • 3 cups fresh green beans, sliced in smaller pieces (can also use frozen sliced green beans)
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • ¼ white onion, sliced 
  • 34 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken bone broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste


  • Additional topping (optional*)
  • Crushed pork rinds


  1. Preheat the oven to 425 F.
  2. In a large pot, boil the green beans until fork tender (about 10 minutes). 
  3. In a large saucepan, add the mushrooms, onion, garlic, and broth, bringing to a boil, and stirring frequently. 
  4. Reduce heat to a simmer and add in the cream cheese, stirring to combine.
  5. Add the green beans in, mixing until combined.
  6. Add the green bean mixture to an 8×8 baking dish, and top with shredded cheese, sea salt, black pepper, and optional crushed pork rinds.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
