Lacking ideas for a flavorful matcha snack? Matcha MCT Fat Bombs are here to help. The ingredients in these fat bombs are full of healthy fats to help keep you full and energized throughout your busy day. The ingredients to these satiating treats include:

First of all, what is cocoa butter?

Most of us have heard the term cocoa butter in reference to lotions and other topical creams to help relieve dry skin. However, in cocoa butters raw form, it’s not only edible, but provides some amazing health benefits too. Like coconut oil (also included in these delicious fat bombs), cocoa butter is made up of primarily saturated fats.

Raw cocoa butter is a bit different than cocoa butter that has been cooked or heated. The heating of cocoa butter has a tendency to decrease the health benefits.

So what are some of the benefits of adding raw cocoa butter to your top list of baking ingredients?

1. Improves Skin Health

Like many saturated fats, cocoa butter is easily one of the most effective naturally hydrating products, helping to heal it from the inside out.

2. Anti-Aging Properties

Cocoa mass polyphenols are compounds found in cocoa butter that benefit the skin both internally and externally. These polyphenols are antioxidants that have been shown to fight chronic disease and cell mutations. [*]

3. Improves Heart Health

The polyphenols in cocoa butter have more than just anti-aging properties. Cocoa butter is also considered an anti-inflammatory food. The saturated fats in cocoa butter have also been shown to help reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Worried you’re not getting enough saturated fats in your diet? Try these Matcha MCT Fat Bombs and some of our other favorite fat bombs like our Macadamia Nut Fat Bombs, Peaches and Cream Fat Bombs, Mocha Fat Bombs or our MCT Anti-Inflammatory Fat Bombs.
