Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened almond milk (or macadamia, cashew, or hazelnut milk)
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon, plus extra for dusting
  • ⅛ tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of ground cloves (about half of a ⅛ tsp measure)
  • ¼ tsp sugar-free vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 pack Chocolate Toku Flow (rich in nattokinase, a heart-healthy enzyme)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy whipping cream, whipped to serve

Instructions

  1. Pour the almond milk into a small saucepan. Add cinnamon, ginger, cloves, vanilla, and salt.
  2. Heat gently over medium heat until steaming and just starting to foam, then remove from heat.
  3. Add Chocolate Toku Flow to a mug. Pour in the hot spiced milk and stir well, or use a milk frother for a creamier texture.
  4. Top with whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon. Serve warm and enjoy.
