macadamia nut fat bombs

Although the term “fat bomb” may not necessarily denote a positive connotation, those on a ketogenic diet know better. Essentially “fat bombs” are a great source of fuel and energy for the body when in ketosis. Instead of the body running on carbohydrates, it uses fats to sustain itself. Sometimes there just isn’t time to prepare a snack if the energy begins to dip, so fat bombs are the perfect little charge that can help get you through until you are able to have an actual meal.

Fat bombs come in extra handy during the beginning stages of your ketogenic diet when you are just starting to switch fuel sources. Oftentimes people can get hungrier quicker because the body is searching for carbs to use to sustain itself. Fat bombs are a great little tool to have because they are easy to prepare, can be eaten on the go, are super tasty, and are a great source of healthy fats. There isn’t a specific amount of fat bombs you can have in a day, but no doubt having one or two will satisfy your sweet craving and help get you through the day! These fat bombs will become your favorite macadamia nut recipe of all time!
